Customer Case

HaloB LTE system was firstly introduced to JCI in Tokyo, Japan.

JCI is the first and largest MVNO in Japan. In order to further decrease network renting cost and increase profit, JCI would like to build Private LTE based on 1.9GHz unlicensed spectrum in Japan.

Baicells innovatively propose highly-integrated and light-asset solution---HaloB, to largely reduce CAPEX. HaloB integrated the EPC function into base stations, improving reliability and performance. Together with Baicells’ B-GW, OMC, IMS system, HaloB solution could enable customer JCI to provide LTE service, including voice service (VoLTE/VoIP), data service, local breakout, LBT (Listen Before Talk), VxLAN, etc.

Currently, HaloB Field trial has successfully finished. Light network asset, High integration, Easy operation, the new Private LTE network architecture is quite suitable for enterprise self-building networks. It is expected to have massive deployments in the coming years.
